Anyways, here we are, about to conclude the fight weekend with some great fights at UFC 114, and when the smoke clears, I will be a winner! [SIZE="3"]This is a weird fight, and obviously not the best one to show someone who isn't familiar with MMA. It will be a sloppy fight, and most likely very short. We have 5-time "Met-RX World's Strongest Man" champion and record holder, Mariusz Pudzianowski, fighting against the lazy veteran in Tim Sylvia (ex-UFC). While it can be considered a 'circus fight' or 'freak show', even as an MMA purist, I'm highly interested in this fight.

[/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Georgia][SIZE=3]This is a battle between two very hard hitting middleweights. I've always been a Jorge Rivera fan since he first came into UFC. Surprising, I know, considering he's a Red Sox fan. I guess I'm a sucker for a blue collar guy, a construction worker in Rivera's case, who has a hell of a right hook. With that said, I generally like to avoid betting against solid strikers with heavy hands at anything over -200. Yet, here we are, laying -260. Why? [FONT=Georgia][SIZE=3]This is a card that from the outside in looks very easy. Maybe it's because you have 1 current champion, and 1 ex-champion fighting what looks like "no-name" fighters. I put no-name in quotes, because they are actually two very capable fighters. One of whom will pull the upset in Newark, NJ. This is my favorite fight on the card. I want to slam it, but I keep telling myself, and advising others, it?s hard to lay a lot of wood on someone who is 1-5 in his past 6 fights, with three of those losses coming by way of knockout. Not only is Paulo Thiago a Martial Artist, but he's also a member of the BOPE in his home country of Brazil. For those of you not familiar with it, it's an elite Special Forces police unit based out of Brasilia, Brazil. BOPE units have extensive experience in urban warfare, and it's believed to be one of the most efficient military forces in the world. Simply put...Paulo Thiago is bad ass mother****er. The toughest fight in this parlay is the Nick Diaz fight. His skills are far surperior to Zaromskis in every aspect of the game. Unfortunately though, for Diaz, Zaromskis has a hell of a KO punch. He swings for the fences, and can possibly get lucky. I see Diaz getting tagged a little bit trying to stand up, but he should take it to the ground and submit Zaromskis rather easily. Santos is fighting a decently mediocre opponent in Marloes Coenen. Coenen hits hard and is a decent Muay Thai fighter,...

Think this will be a back and forth fight, and I like Henderson's conditioning better. I think this is a semi-boring fight that'd decided by the slight edge in Henderson's wrestling game. Not to mention the whole time Varner has been hurt, Henderson has been actively fighting. Had Varner around +135, think the wrong fighter is favored here.

Urijah is the anchoring play. Would have loved to play this straight, but...

Not a major fan of this card, both from the betting standpoint, and the entertainment factor.

This is a fight where two fighter's careers are going in opposite directions. Yvel was lucky he was even allowed to fight this fight, after the past incidents. He better be careful, and pick his strikes wisely, or he'll never fight in the states again.
